Terms of Use of Autoilu

1. Definitions

  • Service provider / Autoilu – OÜ Lõuna Autoilu, which provides hand wash and other cleaning services.

  • Client – ​​a natural or legal person who orders the service.

  • Vehicle – a vehicle in the possession of the client, along with additional equipment and accessories.

  • Work – an agreed washing or cleaning service (e.g. exterior wash, interior cleaning, tar removal, waxing, etc.).

2. Nature of the service and provider

2.1. 2.1. At Autoilu, all washing and cleaning work is carried out exclusively by Autoilu employees. The client does not perform the washing work themselves and does not enter the washroom during the work.
2.2. The content, cost and expected duration of the work are agreed upon when booking or accepting the work.

3. Booking, arrival and handover

3.1. 3.1. Booking is made on the website, by phone or e-mail. The booking is confirmed by Autoilu.
3.2. The client brings the vehicle to Autoilu at the agreed time and gives the keys to the employee.
3.3. Before starting the work, Autoilu will record the visible condition of the vehicle (including photos) if necessary, in order to prevent disputes regarding previous damage.
3.4. The client must notify the customer of any delay as soon as possible. If the delay is more than 15 minutes, Autoilu may release the time; if the work cannot be rescheduled, it will be considered a no-show (see clause 10).

4. Customer confirmations and vehicle preparation

4.1. 4.1. The customer confirms that he has the right to bring the vehicle to the service and order the service.
4.2. Before handover, the customer removes: valuable items, loose items in the cabin/luggage compartment, non-standard accessories that may be damaged during washing (e.g. open luggage rack, antenna, temporary spoilers, roof box, etc.). If removal is not possible, the customer informs the employee.
4.3. The customer informs about special features (delicate ceramics/film, rust spots, paint defects, leakage, electrical/sensor failures, leaking windows/doors, etc.).
4.4. If the vehicle is heavily soiled (pitch, salt, resin, pet hair, construction or winter ice), the volume of work and price may differ from the initial one.

5. Performance and quality of work

5.1. 5.1. Autoilu selects professional tools and types of materials, following the manufacturers’ instructions.
5.2. If necessary, Autoilu may refuse to perform the work if the vehicle does not meet safety requirements (corroded parts, leaks, cracked glass, loose parts, etc.) or if the service would endanger the vehicle or employees.
5.3. The work is considered to be completed when the customer has received the vehicle and the defects/claims have been recorded in the act or invoice (see clause 11).

6. Liability

6.1. 6.1. Autoilu is liable for damage that occurs directly through Autoilu’s fault during the performance of the work.
6.2. Autoilu is not liable for:

  • the worsening of previous or hidden defects (including rust, stone chips, peeling paint, dull plastic, stone damage, damage to the delicate coating);

  • for the detachment or damage of non-original or incorrectly installed accessories (spoilers, moldings, decorative panels, tuning parts, stickers, films);

  • for the loss of loose items, personal belongings and valuables in the cabin (please remove them before the start of the work);

  • for the failure of electrical accessories or sensors that are not causally related to the work performed.

6.3. 6.3. If an Autoilu employee has to drive briefly to move the vehicle (in the work area, maneuvering in and out), he/she will do so carefully and is responsible for complying with traffic regulations.
6.4. In the event of a loss: immediate fixation, joint inspection, photos and a report; if necessary, the insurance company will be notified.

7. Prices and payment

7.1. 7.1. The price list is published on the Autoilu website and on site. The price may change depending on the actual condition of the vehicle and the scope of work (e.g. removal of pitch, resin, insects, salt deposits, pet hair, hard-to-reach places).
7.2. Payment is made on site upon completion of the work by bank card or other agreed method. Payment based on an invoice is possible for legal entities by agreement.
7.3. Promotions or discounts do not apply unless otherwise stated.

8. Data protection, photography and video surveillance

8.1. 8.1. Autoilu processes the customer’s contact and vehicle data for the provision of the service and billing in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
8.2. There may be video surveillance on the territory to ensure security.
8.3. Before-and-after photos are taken only to record the work and prevent disputes; they are retained for the minimum necessary time.

9. Work deadline and storage

9.1. 9.1. The work deadline is agreed upon before the work begins. The deadline may be extended if unexpected circumstances or additional work occurs (e.g. severe squeezing, complex stains).

10. Cancellation, modification and no-show

10.1. 10.1. The reservation can be changed or canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the service time, unless otherwise agreed.
10.2. In case of immediate cancellation or no-show, Autoilu has the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50-100% of the planned work price.

11. Acceptance of work and complaints

11.1. 11.1. The client undertakes to inspect the work on site. Obvious defects will be recorded immediately upon delivery (on the invoice or in the act).
11.2. If there are hidden defects, we kindly ask you to notify us in writing within 48 hours of receipt of the work.
11.3. In the event of a justified defect, Autoilu will make a free repair within a reasonable time or compensate the justified cost proportionally.
11.4. The dispute is resolved based on the principle of reasonableness and proof. The consumer has the right to contact the Consumer Protection and Technical Supervision Authority or the court.

12. Specifications and limitations

12.1. Special materials (alcantara, natural leather, lacquered black plastic, piano black, special films/ceramics) require gentle methods; the level of the result depends on previous maintenance.
12.2. Extreme dirt (e.g. construction debris, tar, paint, resins, concrete dust, mold, smoke damage) may not be completely removed.
12.3. Cleaning textile surfaces deeply soaked with pet hair and fur is time-consuming; additional charges are agreed separately.
12.4. In winter, seals and locks may freeze after washing – we recommend silicone treatment of seals.
12.5. Motorcycles, vans, vehicles of special heights or sizes – service and price by agreement.

13. Environment and safety

13.1. 13.1. Autoilu follows the manufacturer’s instructions when using washing chemicals and ensures proper handling of wastewater in accordance with applicable requirements.
13.2. We ask the customer to follow the safety instructions provided on the Autoilu territory (traffic, parking, pedestrian area).

14. Force majeure

14.1. 14.1. The party is not liable for breach of obligations if this is due to force majeure, including power outages, pipe failures, machine failure, weather conditions, acts of third parties, etc. In this case, a new completion date will be agreed upon or the fee for the work not performed will be refunded.

15. Amendment of the Terms

15.1. 15.1. Autoilu has the right to temporarily supplement or amend the terms. The valid version is published on the autoilu.ee website; for reservations, the version valid at the time of the reservation applies, unless otherwise provided by law.

Useful to know

  • Please remove any extraneous attachments (luggage racks, magnetic advertisements, temporary stickers) before arrival – they are typical causes of damage.
  • Strong squeezing/resin and “insect layer” require special procedures and may be added to the price.
